Oh my goodness, I've just dropped my teacup and cream bun!!

I learned this morning that my second book THE DEVIL MAY CARE is a finalist in RWA's Golden Heart Historical category!!

Making this sweet news far, far sweeter is that my little sister (and CP!!!), the awesome and brilliant Eileen Emerson, is a finalist in the Golden Heart Regency Historical category with her first book A WHISPER TO THE WILD!!!

Can you say WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!???!!!

Come join the party over at the Ruby Slippered Sisterhood, where our beloved Darynda Jones has DOUBLE-FINALED in the Rita (Best First Book and Best Novel with Strong Romantic Elements for her awesome FIRST GRAVE ON THE RIGHT!!). We also have a Rita nominee for Ruby Sister Elizabeth Essex's THE DANGER OF DESIRE, in Historical...a fabulous category which also includes Courtney Milan, Joanna Bourne, and Deanna Raybourn, which is exactly as it should be.  Congrats, Darynda and Elizabeth, and to EVERYONE who finaled (especially EILEEN)!!!!

It was a lot of work, but worth it--I got tons of writing done!!
