A MOST IMPROPER GENTLEMAN won the 2010 Golden Heart for Regency Historical.
In 2010, it also won:
The Beau Monde Royal Ascot for Regency Historical
The Molly (Historical)
Heart of the Rockies (Historical)
Reveal Your Inner Vixen
It was a finalist in every contest I entered it in, including The Golden Palm, and it was also nominated in the Molly's Unsinkable Heroine Category.

My second book, The Devil May Care, won the 2010 Beau Monde Royal Ascot in the Hot Regency category, and won the Historical category of the 2009 Golden Pen.
In 2010, it was also a finalist in:
The Emily
Great Expectations
Fab Five
Reveal Your Inner Vixen (came in second place behind A Most Improper Gentleman!).

Since I was a Golden Heart finalist for A Most Improper Gentleman (then called Shameless) in 2009 as well, I'm lucky enough to count myself a member both of the uber-talented Unsinkables and of the extraordinary Ruby Slippered Sisters. I'll blog here when I can, but you'll hear more from me at the 2009 finalists' website, rubyslipperedsisterhood.com

Heaven, I'm in Heaven!!!

Reader heaven, that is.  Many of my favorite authors have had releases in the past couple weeks: Sherry Thomas with His at Night, Meredith Duran with Wicked Becomes You, Julia Quinn with Ten Things I Love About You, and Mary Balogh with the paperback of Seducing an Angel. Almost an embarrassment of riches, except that I'm too shameless for embarrassment.

But the very happiest part of all is that I managed to get hold of Joanna Bourne's The Forbidden Rose TWO DAYS EARLY!!!  I will not reveal the nefarious means by which I got hold of said volume (oh, okay, the clerks at Barnes & Noble apparently weren't paying much attention to the release date.)  Despite the fact my family seemed to think Memorial Day weekend was a time for me to pay attention to THEM--or at least provide them with burgers and corn on the cob and sliced watermelon and a couple good trips to the pool--I've managed to steal enough time to get halfway through the book, and it is JUST ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!

Add to this that I just won a critique from Courtney Milan from Brenda Novak's fabulous auction for diabetes research, and my weekend has been exceeding excellent!  Hope yours was as well!

JOIN ME TODAY AT ROMANCE WRITERS ON THE JOURNEY!!

My first-ever novelist interview is up today at Keli Gwyn's site Romance Writers on the Journey. Be sure to leave a comment to have a chance at winning a $25 Barnes and Noble e-gift-certificate.

Chances are if you're here today, it's because you went there first, but hey....  social networking is so self-referential anyway.  Just keep right on visiting!!  (Speaking of which, I'm also featured today on my sister's blog, The Sublurbs...look down past the post on being a Fabricaholic.)

And while you're at it, pay a visit to the Ruby Slippered Sisterhood blog, where soon-to-be-published Ruby Sister Tamara Hogan is interviewing her critique partner, Brenda Whiteside, whose debut novel, Sleeping with the Lights On is out TOMORROW from Wild Rose Press.

Thanks to everyone who stops by!

It's heartbreaking watching the photos and videos of the flooding in Tennessee!  My thoughts and prayers are with everybody trying to make it safely through.
